SPORTY

My research aimed to achieve a sporty visual identity that aligns with the brand while maintaining a refined and elegant aesthetic, in line with the season’s inspiration. The main direction of the collection was focused on Italian tailoring from the 1970s-80s.
The sporty proposal was to imagine a structured silhouette with a relaxed visual appeal. As knitwear is inherently close to sportswear, I suggested pieces in rib stitch to enhance the flexibility and fit. The choice of cable stitch was inspired by vintage Italian sweaters from that era, reinforcing the collection’s heritage feel.

From a vintage sweater, I decided to take the visual of a raglan sleeves with 2x2 rib stitch on the top of the sleeves and jersey stitch bottom the sleeves.

Inspired by a vintage piece, this ribbed t-shirt is designed with rayon yarn accents to add a sophisticated touch. Made from 100% cotton, it offers a soft hand feel and a clean finish, reminiscent of the gentle texture of a children’s t-shirt.
Strongly influenced by the Rocco series, the t-shirt embraces a childlike visual identity. While its knit construction is intricate, the overall aesthetic remains simple and pure.
